Review Submitted August 2025Our daughter attended Zusin for the last year and we had an amazing experience. During this time, she went to two different Zusin locations. The caregivers at both locations were all wonderful - attentive, loving, and communicative sharing funny stories from our daughter as well as helping us troubleshoot such as when our daughter went through a picky eating phase. The admin team was also great - they were very flexible and were always responsive and easy to work with. We truly couldn't have asked for a better daycare than Zusin.

Review Submitted June 2025We had a fantastic experience at Zusin 17th Street. Our daughter started when she was just 6 months old and stayed until she was 2.5, and we always felt she was in the best hands. The carers are truly wonderful--kind, attentive, and deeply caring. One of the things we really appreciated was the consistency. Unlike many centers that follow DOE closures, this daycare stays open on those days and throughout the summer, which made a big difference for our schedules. They provide all meals and snacks, which took a lot off our plate as busy parents. Our daughter loved the weekly music lessons, and we were so glad she got regular outdoor time in their secure back garden. We're so grateful for the nurturing and enriching environment they created--it gave our daughter a strong, happy start.

Review from the 2025 Daycare & Preschool SurveyReview: I've sent my daughter there from the time she was 7 months old and I couldn't love it more. The staff has had no turnover and they're all so awesome and loving—my daughter always has the biggest smiles at drop-off and pick-up. They have great events (a weekly music class with Rolie Polie Guacamole, a Mother's Day brunch, a parents' night out on Valentine's Day) and a lovely space. I feel so lucky that I found them! Amenities: Has outdoor space, Provides meals

Review from the 2024 Daycare & Preschool SurveyZusin’s has been absolutely wonderful! This is the second daycare we’ve attended in Park Slope & 4th overall for my family & definitely my favorite for my infant. There seems to be little staff turnover and all the caregivers are so sweet & seem to genuinely care about our baby. The space is bright, clean & totally tailored to the kids. Plus they work really hard at doing special things like having music class, decorating for holidays & overall just making it feel like a really caring special place. We're happy to have gotten a spot here! Amenities: Has outdoor space, Provides meals. (17th Street location)

Review submitted October 2024We are so grateful to have found Zusin on Prospect Ave for our little one, who started at ~5 months old. The caregivers are so loving, thoughtful, and organized. They seem to find so much joy in their work on a daily basis. I've learned a lot from the fabulous team and I know our son is in great hands. A few bonuses: the backyard for outdoor play, stroller storage, flexibility around feeding processes, excellent communication via text or the app, and great photos.

Review from the Spring 2024 Early Education SurveyREVIEW: We love Zusins. The staff is great and you can tell they love the kids, and from an administrative perspective, they're super responsive. They have weekly music lessons, group birthday celebrations, crafts, and other events for the kids. They also provide food!; Amenities: Has outdoor space, Provides meals, Music class; What would you change? Not all teachers speak English well, so sometimes it can be hard to communicate,

Review from the Spring 2024 Early Education SurveyREVIEW: We've had the most wonderful experience at Zusin. We'll be moving on to a location that serves older kids soon and I'm sad to be leaving. The program is intimate with a great ratio of kids to teachers and feels very homey - cozy, clean, not institutional. It feels like all of the teachers get along and genuinely like each other and the kids. The teachers are incredibly warm and I'm pretty sure the kids get affection all day long. At pick-up, we often see parents bringing graduates by just to say hi to the teachers. I really appreciated that this location only serves kids up to ~15 - 16 months which made it feel much more approachable to leave our little one there when he was 9 months (which, at the time, put him right in the middle of the pack). They provide all meals and snacks, and even milk once the kids transition to cow's milk, which has been a tremendous help - most days we don't have to bring anything except when we need to restock diapers or wipes. They've been super communicative and flexible, and all of the staff are certified to perform CPR and administer an epipen, which was important to us. They offer very thoughtful "perks," like staying open until 9pm the Friday night before Valentine's Day at no extra cost, and they occasionally offer weekend hours. We've been commuting from Kensington to this location - it's a bit of a schlep, but feels well worth it, I'd do it again, hands down.; Amenities: Has outdoor space, Has after-school options, Has early morning hours, Provides meals; What would you change? More pro-active or advanced conversations about transitioning on to the next location would have been helpful, but it's all working out fine

Review from the Spring 2024 Early Education SurveyREVIEW: The caregivers are all amazing individuals, and we've felt like they've been an extension of our family. They provide frequent and helpful updates on meals and circulum.; Amenities: Has outdoor space, Has after-school options, Has early morning hours, Provides meals; What would you change? Space seems a little tight, but may be par for the course in NYC.

Review from the Spring 2024 Early Education SurveyREVIEW: Zusin is incredibly friendly, warm and loving. My second child is now enrolled in this location and I didn’t consider sending her anywhere else. Marta and her team are so wonderful with babies. I am never concerned about leaving my children. There is weekly music class and outdoor space and food is included.; Amenities: Has outdoor space, Has after-school options, Has early morning hours, Provides meals; What would you change? Nothing
