MOHS Surgeon
Hi, I had MOHS surgery a couple of weeks ago. I went to Dr Cindy Bae on 34th St in Manhattan. I was initially referred to Dr Geronemus by Dr Zelaya, but Dr. G was not in network so I chose Dr Cindy Bae from the roster of dermatological surgeons in his clinic. Dr. Bae is good and experienced although young. At first I was hoping for a more warm bedside manner but at least she was very professional and worked alongside a pathologist so I know it was a thorough operation. The nurses were very bright and helpful. I went back to get my stitches out yesterday and so far so good -- no irritation and not a huge scar. It's still healing though so hard to tell what it will look like. She mentioned that they can laser the scar in about 6 months to smooth it if I'm not happy with it.
