- Re: ISO: yogaI love Yoga Sole in Windsor Terrace - it’s a small studio but a great community.
- Re: Prenatal Yoga Class?Another recommendation for Shamina Rao’s class at Yoga Sole in Windsor Terrace. It’s a small class and very intimate so you get to know each other and it’s a lovely community. Shamina is a wonderful yoga teacher, doula, and board certified lactation consultant, so she’s a fantastic resource and good person to know. People often use her for lactation help after they “graduate” from the yoga class.
- Re: Prenatal Yoga Class?I was in the same boat and took prenatal yoga classes at YogaSole in Windsor Terrace with Shamina Rao. She was excellent and adjusted instructions based on individual skill levels and our respective aches/pains. Highly recommend! She's also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and ended up supporting my son and me as we adjusted to breastfeeding during the newborn phase.
- Iso: Pilates in Windsor terrace /Kensington /park slopeYoga Sole in Windsor Terrace has a few blended classes that include Pilates mat moves. I like the Friday core fusion class.
- Info on yoga class in the parkI mostly go to their in-studio classes, but they do offer some right at that spot in the park and also some online. The teachers are wonderful there, and it’s a great place to practice
- Baby and Me Yoga?Yogasole has offered Baby and Me yoga, although I don't see it on the present schedule. I do, though, heartily recommend Renewal Yoga and Tension Release Yoga there, which have been so restorative when my body checks into the shop as 'broken'.
- Great Prenatal Yoga Class at Yoga Sole Windsor TerraceSharing a shoutout on a great prenatal yoga class at Yoga Sole in Windsor Terrace, Wednesdays at 5:30pm. I’ve been taking the class since January and we’ve had a few people “graduate” so there is now room in the class. The class is relaxing and well suited to a range of abilities / stages. Shamina, the instructor, is a doula and lactation consultant and very knowledgeable.
- Workout options outdoors/in Prospect ParkYoga Sole has classes in the park on most days: https://www.yogasole.com/class-schedule.html. They were outside last fall until end of October or so. Some of their classes are more strenuous than others, but I've enjoyed all the instructors I've taken so far.
- Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience SurveyGeorgia Lowe, Yoga Solé, Pre-natal Yoga — Georgia's pre-natal yoga class was absolutely fantastic. She was extremely helpful in making sure that all of the positions we were in were tailored to our needs and helped prepared us for sustaining the uncomfortable contractions we would go through during labor. Georgia was caring and took time to listen to our concerns and talk through possible stretches to help us along.
