PreeclampsiaI recommend Dr. Yevegeniya Pozharny at Unique Perinatal: http://www.uniqueperinatal.com/doctor I just delivered (literally last week) via c-section with severe preeclampsia. Dr. Pozharny was my MFM the entire pregnancy and as far as I can tell made all the right calls re: treatment, when and how to deliver, etc. She has one office in Dyker Heights and one in Park Slope (9th street between 4th and 3rd) and is in each office 2 days a week. My primary OBGYN is affiliated with Brooklyn Methodist and gave me the referral for Dr. P. I'm not sure what the procedure is if you're coming without a referral or a referral outside the Methodist network, but I'm sure if you call the office they'll be able to tell you the process.

Review submitted via the PSP Birth SurveyI went to Dr. Pozharny for my high-risk pregnancy. She was absolutely amazing and made sure I stayed healthy throughout my pregnancy. When I needed to be induced, she made the call, and it was absolutely the right one at the right moment--she made sure I stayed pregnant for as long as possible without things becoming an emergency. I have no doubt I would've had a c-section under another doctor's care. She was so caring that she insisted on seeing for me post-partum to ensure my issues were resolved.
