Year Up is a great nonprofit organization that takes professional clothing donations. They train low income 18-24 year olds for jobs in the corporate sector (with a large emphasis on IT support roles). they provide internships, college credits, and the whole thing is free (participants actually earn a stipend). There are 2 New York offices- one at BMCC and one in the financial district at 85 Broad Street.
