  • Review from the Spring 2022 Birthing Survey

Dr Fuchs was incredible. I had to have an emergency c section due to my baby’s heart beat dropping, and she got her out in three minutes. She took almost an hour to see me back up and it’s obvious that she did because I had a very successful healing process- no “shelf” and almost no numbness. I wish she could birth all of future children but she is now just a gyno, and I can’t speak to her in that regard
  • Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey

I have been seeing Dr Fuchs for several years for ob/gyn services. She keeps it real but is also compassionate. (she could tell something was wrong and hugged me when I told her I was having breastfeeding issues with my first child)

I loved Dr. Fuchs from start to finish. She is wonderful, funny, and kind. She really made the experience great for me and is no nonsense. I had complications from 32 weeks on and saw her twice a week so she was very on top of it.

Dr. Fuchs is an amazing, supportive doctor. Ive been seeing her for almost 20 years.

I have been with Dr Yale Fuchs for years and love her. She delivered both of my babies at Methodist. Her office is over Barnes and Noble by the hospital.
  • 2018 Birth Survey

She is not only warm and caring, but is a true advocate for her patient to ensure the best care both in the birthing process and in recovery afterwards.

Dr Fuchs oversaw my pregnancy and was great. Her style is very no-nonsense, straightforward, and very experienced, over 25 years at Methodist Hospital. I sometimes saw the nurse in the office Rosa Gonzales, who I had met with first and made me feel comfortable and confident right away. I had low progesterone in the beginning and regular braxton hicks toward the end and felt like I was in good hands the whole time. Our baby arrived a couple weeks early and Dr Fuchs's partner, Dr Ayoub was on-call that day and he was also great. Labor and delivery was as smooth as one could have, and we have a wonderful baby girl. Based on a September 2017 birthing experience.

I love Dr Fuchs. She has an extremely positive attitude and she's always being encouraging. She assisted me during the delivery and, despite she suggested a c-section after many hours of pushing, she accepted my desire to have a vaginal birth and she maintained my spirit motivated and happy. I couldn't have chosen a better OB-GYN. Based on December 2016 birth experience

I totally trust her. She's been doing this for a while and her practice is her life. She is extremely busy. But she is present when you need her and efficient. She's honest, communicates with you, and knowledgeable. She is blunt and doesn't sugar coat things. Based on 08/2016 birth experience

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Fuchs. She is caring and will always take the time to listen to your needs, concerns and questions. Member notes about insurance: Accepts United Health. Everything has worked out fine with her office; and was a bit frustrating with billing from Methodist but it all worked out in the end. Based on a February 2016 birthing experience

Review: She is patient, knowledgeable. She always spends time with her patients. (Which is why there is usually a long wait on appointment day). But it is totally worth the wait!! Member notes about insurance: Yes. Based on a January 2016 birthing experience
  • Review submitted via 2015 Birth Survey

REVIEW: Dr Fuchs is amazing! Besides being an amazing Doctor who I always knew was 1 step ahead of my pregnancy issues, she offers great support before and during the birth and is really someone you can feel comfortable with. Her office wait times are long, but you can figure out the best times to schedule a visit and in the end it's well worth it knowing baby and mom are being taken care of! INSURANCE Insurance with Oscar was no problem. Based on a Sept 2015 birth

Member Review: I decided to change obgyns when I was ready to get pregnant and I am so glad that I did! From the first appointment, Dr. Fuchs was approachable and I didn't even mind the wait. The wait ended up being the one issue. Her hours are great, often she isn't even there until 4. Expect a long wait unless you are the first appointment. Even then you will wait. The staff is nice, and so is her partner. She listened to everything I wanted and honestly answered all of my questions. Insurance details: Yes, I had GHI and it wasn't a problem. Review based on birth of 2014 baby

I second the recommendation for Yael Fuchs! She is hilarious, very forthright and down-to-earth. I have been her patient for 10 years, and in 2010 she delivered my daughter. (Jan 2011).
