Summer camps for 2sWe did World Explorers for a few weeks in August for my daughter (who turned 2 in July) and she had a blast! It’s near Fort Greene Park. They provide meals and have different themes for each week of camp. And you pay and sign up for individual weeks at a time, which was nice for us since we didn’t need coverage for the entire month.
Review from the 2023 Summer Camp SurveyLocation: Fort Green How old was your child when they attended camp this summer? Turning four Review: Camp was great and our son loved it. The adults were extremely caring. The whole organization was very well run. The children had a wonderful time together. Our son was delighted to go each day and always in a good mood when we picked him up. What would you change about the program, if anything, and why? The younger kids don’t go on many field trips—we look forward to next year when they will do more Would you like to add anything related to COVID and how the camp handled it? Nothing in particular. We were comfortable.
Review from the 2023 Summer Camp SurveyLocation: Ft Greene How old was your child when they attended camp this summer? 4 Review: E attended the camp during the summer weeks we were in the city. He attends Broojklyn Explorers for preschool and we highly recommend the school and the camp (Clubhouse age level). The teachers are great and E especially loves Water Wednesday. Also, they are right next to Ft Greene park so they go there once a day.
School Break CampsWe've been sending our four year old to World Explorers School Break Camp and it's been great (love that they go to museums and the gardens!)
