Review from the Spring 2024 Early Education Survey
Review: The playgroup is so inviting. Ms Elisha is so very warm and personal and knows what she’s doing. The space is beautiful and engaging. The program is child-led and art centered. They spend a ton of time out in the park. I sent both my children there for 2 years and am so sad to leave it. If I were to do it again, I would absolutely send them there. Amenities: Has outdoor space What would you change about the program, if anything, and why? The program is part-week and this year with my daughter being 4, I wish it was full-weekReview from the Spring 2024 Early Education Survey
REVIEW: Willow Nest is magical - small, play and nature based, and child led. Ms. Elisha is creative and really lets the children lead and be inquisitive. We have absolutely loved seeing our daughter grow and thrive in this warm, nurturing environment.; Amenities: Afterschool pickups to other programs; What would you change? I wish they offered a full time program, my daughter would happily attend every dayPreschools in Windsor Terrace
Echoing the recommendation for Willow Nest Studio in Windsor Terrace! http://www.willowneststudio.com/ Our daughter is now in her second year there (started at 2.5 years) and we love it. Gentle, nurturing, kind teachers who are incredibly creative and thoughtful. Big focus on social-emotional learning, art, music, imaginative play, child-led exploration, and they are outside almost every day. We will be sad when she heads to pre-K next year.Preschools in Windsor Terrace
My son attended Willow Nest Studio in Windsor Terrace and it was a fantastic program!Review from the 2018/2019 PSP Daycare, Preschool, PreK, Kindergarten Survey
This is a small and loving preschool that's located right across Prospect Park. My oldest attended the first year it opened and my youngest is currently attending. Both Elisha and Shanna are wonderful with the kids. It's child-centered and inquiry based which has allowed my kids to blossom and explore their creativity in a supportive environment. Elisha changes the studio weekly so there are always new things for the kids to explore. Weather permitting, they go to the park every day. I really can't say enough good things about it and I feel like it's really different from the other preschool options that are offered in the neighborhood. I know that my children receive(d) a lot of personal attention and the teachers genuinely care about each child. Amazing. The children go out to prospect park every day, even when its cold or snowing. Only rain keeps them indoors! The indoor space is very playful- costumes, mini puppet stages, lots of arts and crafts, music and so much more. The teachers are so creative, thoughtful and patient. About the facility: Great indoor space and across the street from the park. What would you change? Wish they did longer days!
