    There aren't many pedi derm. We saw Dr. Vikash Oza for a lip hemangioma (first visit at 6 wks!!) and he was excellent. Definitely worth the trip to Manhattan!

    My daughter started seeing Dr. Oza at NYU at 6 wks for a lip hemangioma. He is amazing. I'm a physician myself and I fully trust his judgement and recommendations and his bedside manner is wonderful. We go out of our way to see him and it's very worth it. He may be difficult to get into though.

    Another vote for Dr. Oza. He was so sweet and patient with my 3.5 year old. She ended up having a biopsy with him and no tears or anything!

    We saw Vikash Oza at NYU a while back with my first child and found him to be very thorough and helpful.

  • Advice and Allergist needed for baby eczema

    We saw Dr Oza (dermatologist at NYU) and he's great at explaining things but he just prescribed us steroid creams, which we were trying to avoid. His point of view was to avoid allergy testing at this age and said that rather than cutting them out, common allergens should be introduced now to protect against developing allergies later.
