Review: Absolutely the kindest, most generous staff. It is a great community. They have very sweet enrichment activities and are constantly updating you with photos on the ProCare app. Amenities: Has after-school options, Has early morning hours, Provides meals What would you change about the program, if anything, and why? Location: Hancock and Malcolm X, BedStuy Type of facility: Daycare Review: My child races into the daycare and comes home happy. She says words and songs I haven’t taught her. The teachers let us know what’s going on and if any behavior issues are being worked on. What amenities does the facility have? Provides meals, Hours are generally 8-6, summer is 8-5. What would you change about the program, if anything? I wish I could visit to see “a day in the life” but covid has prevented in-person tours. I’ve never physically been inside, just see photos. Is there anything you would like to add about how the school is handling the pandemic? They communicate the protocols. Type of facility: Daycare through Pre-K Review: My child started in Verny's infant class at 5 1/2 months old, and when she started she had difficulty taking the bottle. Her teachers were so patient and within a few days I could tell she was already thriving. Verny's has an incredibly warm, loving atmosphere, the teachers and staff are all lovely, and they are super responsive and communicative. They do all kinds of activities during the day even with infants, while accommodating bottle/nap schedules etc. She has plenty of floor time rolling around with the other babies, and she seems to love it. We've been extremely happy with Verny Kidz and highly recommend them if you're in the Bed Stuy area. What amenities does the facility provide? They don't have outdoor space, but they do take the kids out most every day to the park. Is there anything you would like to add about how the school handled the pandemic? We are starting at Verny Kidz on Hancock and Malcolm X June 1st with our 7 month old. It came recommended by PSP and I liked the staff. They are courteous and prompt with responding to questions.
