Second Tribeca Pediatrics. The best part about them (aside from Dr. Ibrahim and Dr. George) is that they are everywhere, which means if your child is sick and you need to see a doctor right now, you can go to the many locations they have.

Seconding [member] about the slightly annoying emails (and Dr George being great too), but just want to add we have never felt pressured or judged into doing anything we didn’t want to do in person with the doctors there, they are lovely reasonable people. A key part of becoming a parent is learning how to keep an open mind to advice (maybe you will hear an idea you never thought of, no need to reinvent the wheel) but trust your own instincts and judgment always.

We have been seeing Dr Nadwa Ibrahim at Tribeca Pediatrics’ Ft Greene location since our daughter was born (four years ago this Sunday!). We love her. She’s energetic yet doesn’t rush; super smart and sympathetic; doesn’t overreact to small things, but listens well and takes a measured approach. We have also had generally good experiences with the office and staff: friendly; easy to make appointments and get needed forms; no issues using our insurance; etc. Just found out that our neighbor with a same-age kid has been happily seeing Dr Ibrahim since 2019, too :)

We are also at Tribeca Pediatrics and really like them. I like both Dr. Ibrahim and Dr George…their third practitioner seems great too, I’ve just only had her once. I do find some of their advice/delivery off putting…for example, an automated email at 10 weeks that says, ‘we are sure you heeded our advice to sleep train, and are thanking us for your baby sleeping 12 straight hours’.

Tribeca Pediatrics of Fort Greene is super convenient. Dr Nadwa Ibrahim is lovely
  • ISO BIPOC Pediatrician Recommendation in Crown Heights/Fort Greene/Bed Stuy Area

Dr Nadwa Ibrahim at Tribeca Pediatrics Ft Greene location is wonderful. She's been my daughter's doctor since she was born in 2019. We've seen a couple other doctors at the same location and also at the Boerum Hill and Prospect Heights locations, all women of color and all fantastic.
  • Pediatrician Recommendation (Ideally Affiliated with NYU)

We live in Clinton Hill and also love Tribeca Pediatrics in Ft Greene. We see Dr. George and love her (she may still be on maternity leave or coming back soon.) Being able to walk is great, and always able to fit in quickly for sick visits and nurses call back in a timely manner.

I second the recommendation for Tribeca Pediatrics! We use and love the Fort Greene location - we've seen all the providers there and have had only positive experiences.

We’ve had a great experience with Tribeca Pediatrics with both of our children. We also live in Clinton Hill and absolutely love that we can walk to the Fort Greene location, where we’ve been going to for 5 years now. Depending on where you live in Clinton Hill they also have a Clinton Hill office on Myrtle Ave. We also love that they have Saturday hours at the Prospect Heights location on Flatbush (also walkable) and if my children get sick or need to see a doctor immediately, they intentionally leave open appointments on their schedule to accommodate. Finally, TP is affiliated with Cornell’s pediatric center (the best in the city!). We had an emergency once and our TP pediatrician arranged for us to go there. When we arrived they were already expecting us - my son was taken in and immediately surrounded by pediatric specialists. I was extremely impressed with our pediatrician’s ability to pave the way for us to receive immediate and exceptional care at Cornell!
  • Pediatrician

I agree with everyone else that proximity is huge, and Tribeca Fort Greene has been great for us. I schlepped to Brooklyn Heights for my first kid and even though the doctor there was great, it was frankly stupid to drive somewhere and deal with car seats when I could just do a pleasant stroller or carrier walk instead. Their telehealth and phone service is really good and fast - Dr. George accurately diagnosed my son's virus (roseola, a common and harmless childhood virus) over telehealth even before he broke into the telltale rash, and calmed my fears by watching him play over the phone and confirming that he was not suffering from anything serious. The patient portal and Wizard of Dose medicine dosing guide are great too. I used the patient portal ALL the time to look up my kids' height and weight to help me figure out when to size up on diapers and clothes, when they're going to be too big for infant inserts, etc.

We have loved going to Tribeca Peeds’ Ft Greene location on Fulton St. Very friendly & responsive & on-the-ball staff, and we’ve never had to wait to see the doc. They also offer a phone-a-nurse service for questions that might not necessitate a visit, as well as some video visits (tho we haven’t tried that yet). We see Dr. Nadwa Ibrahim and think she’s great; very smart and easy to talk to and not alarmist.

We use Tribeca Pediatrics in Fort Greene and really like all of the providers there!
  • Pediatrician

We loved the Tribeca Pediatrics on Fulton. They used to have a new parent Q&A session (not sure now because Covid). Always easy to get a same day appointment if there was an issue and they have staff on call to answer questions. Proximity is key at this age. Good luck!
  • Pediatricians in the neighborhood

We started out with Dr. George at Tribeca Fort Greene (who we loved) and kept going to that office. We currently see Dr. Ibrahim there, who is super amazing and ever so positive. Our experience with other offices (for weekend and urgent visits) has also always been incredibly positive, and I love that whenever something happens or if we have a concern, we can always call the nurse line and they'll talk us through what to monitor for and when we should come in to have something checked out.
  • ISO pediatrician in Clinton Hill/Fort Greene

We also love Dr. Ibrahim at the Fort Greene Tribeca Pediatrics on Fulton (Dr. Jessica George moved to another location). Sometimes we go to the Dumbo location and have had great experiences there too.
  • ISO pediatrician in Clinton Hill/Fort Greene

We love Dr. Ibrahim and Dr. Jessica George at the Fort Greene Tribeca Pediatrics on Fulton. No opinion on the other Drs. simply because we haven't seen them but we've had a universally great experience with that particular practice and if we have an issue on a weekend we go to the Prospect Heights location and see Dr. Coehlo or Dr. Hong who have both been wonderful (again, no comment on the other Prospect Heights Drs. simply because we haven't seen them). None of them have been pushy or judgy about any of our decisions or sleep training, feeding etc.

I also rocommend Tribeca Pediatrics. We see Dr. Chao on Dean Street, but there are locations all over.

I live around the same area and I go to the Tribeca Pediatrics in Fort Greene. We see Dr. George there and love her. She gives great guidance, answers all my questions and she’s both personable and knowledgable. Tribeca in general is very well run - the nurses always answer calls quickly and provide helpful advice over the phone. Not all sites are open on weekends, but you can always go to another site in a pinch, which I did when my son was a newborn (I also loved Dr. Hong in the Prospect Heights location). It’s super easy to call and make appointments, get records, etc. I have heard from other parents at my son’s day care that they have to pay to get the updated medical/vaccine record for school/daycare, which is nuts - I just call Tribeca and they send me an encrypted email with the document.

Hi Caitlin! Tribeca Pediatrics is great, and there is a location not too far from you at 771 Fulton St. They've been really great. We've never been to any of the other locations, but the nice part about it is there are a bunch. So if you need a doctor when your office is closed, there is probably another location you can go to.

Type: Childbirth Class (Instructor: Eden Bertrang) Review: Very helpful during the pregnancy to assuage many fears about pain, complications, etc. Picked up a few very cool ideas and tips which I would have used if my own labor hadn't gone so quickly (didn't get to use the birth ball, didn't have "early labor" at all, <6hrs total from start to finish). Eden was very knowledgeable and gave us some terrific resources (evidence-based birth website, books, etc.) Insurance: Not covered by insurance, but was well worth the out-of-pocket cost Based on a 2015 birth

Type: Childbirth Preparation Review: Even though we ended up having a c-section, Eden was an excellent instructor who prepared us for a wide spectrum of birth experiences. Insurance: We paid out of pocket. Based on a December 2015 birth

Dr. George Review: She is excellent. My baby had lost too much weight at the beginning and I had to supplement with formula. The doctor was really reasonable about the feedings in general and has a kind bedside manner. I highly recommend her, she is lovely. Insurance: No problems with insurance. Based on a 2015 birth

Again, very "medical" - they're not fans of alternate vaccines schedules or other hippy-dippy stuff, and I like it that way. Very pro-Ferber CIO sleep training, but not too pushy about it, so we're comfortable there (we're trying Hogg's modified no-cry sleep training first). Very happy so far Insurance: Daughter is on Dad's Aetna POS - no issues so far. Based on a 2015 birth
