I like Tom's in Prospect Heights for pancakes (great pancakes!) and Terrace on 5th Ave in Park Slope (I usually get lunch foods there, so can't speak to breakfast items).

Tom's has amazing pancakes and 2 spots for outdoor dining, though I wouldn't necessarily call them fancy.
