    It’s my belief that any good dermatologist could help with treatment whatever the reason, but if you don’t have a dermatologist you like I would recommend Dr. Ebede (but she’s currently on maternity leave, so you’d be seeing her colleague until September).

    Dr. Ebede at Plaza Park Dermatology. She has the best bedside manner and impressive credentials. And she’s a fellow PSP mom! She’s equally talented on the medical and cosmetic side, but doesn’t push anything. She’s really helped me manage my rosacea.

    I highly recommend Dr. Tobechi Ebede. She removed what turned out to be a benign cyst from my face. The care before, during, and after was exceptional. I returned for myself and family for other care needs, including annual skin checks. An added bonus to Dr. Ebede's calm, compassionate, smart care is that all of her staff from nurses through reception are beyond kind.

    Dr. Edebe in downtown Brooklyn would be a great start. She takes Cigna and has done a fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering. She’s truly a gifted doctor and would trust her.

    I highly recommend Dr. Tobe Ebede. I had such a wonderful experience under her care. My issue was non-cosmetic and related to breastfeeding. Dr. Ebede is professional, knowledgeable, and has great bedside manner - she answered all my questions (I had many) and she didn't rush me at all. She's also a PSP Mom!

    I recently saw Dr. Tobechi Ebede at 26 Court St in Brooklyn, who came to me highly recommended. She is a person of color, and I believe she specializes in colored skin. (I saw a number of info sheets around her office about this.)

    I found Dr. Ebede online and chose to see her for the many positive reviews, which were accurate. I have never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen by Dr. Ebede and her administrative staff are friendly and efficient. She is warm, welcoming, and respectful. When I first saw her, I was long overdue a skin cancer check and we discovered a spot on my forehead that turned out to be basal cell carcinoma. It was several layers under my skin, so removal was more complicated. Dr. Ebede did an excellent job putting me at ease, she removed the cancer in 30 minutes with minimal pain, and my recovery was quick. The scar I have is barely noticeable and she offered laser surgery to remove it for free because as she stated, "it's important for my patients to be happy". Also, when I thanked her for doing a great job with my surgery, she said that we had done it together as a team, so she views her patients as collaborators. Since surgery I have had regular skin check visits and she has also treated my eczema like a pro. I have referred 6 people to her who all rave about her. My teenage son sees her, so she will see kids as well as adults. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

    My whole family (including my 12 year old son) goes to Dr. Tobechi Ebede in downtown Brooklyn. She is very nice, always on time, and you can usually get in to see her quickly. If you book the appt on ZoCDoc it will say she does not see kids, but she does treat tweens/teens.

    I love my dermatologist Dr. Tobechi Ebede. She is very thorough and diagnosed and treated my skin cancer (nodular basal cell carcinoma) and I'm sure she would be skilled with melanoma. She take the stance of partnering with her patients and explains everything in great detail and helps you to understand your treatment options and follow-up care. She is always on time and has never made me feel rushed to leave her office. Customer/patient service is a high priority for her. I have referred others to her and they also think she is excellent. She is located in downtown Brooklyn at 26 Court St and it's easy to book an appointment via ZocDoc and you could probably see her as early as next week.
