Alternative to Fresh Direct?
If you're interested in a wide selection of national organic brands, I'd recommend Thrive Market (they are a B Corp and are actively working to reduce their packaging).Alternative to Fresh Direct?
I’ve been a thrive member for years and always say I’m ending my membership and don’t. It’s a love hate thing. Pros for me: slightly cheaper organic food and some food I can’t find elsewhere so it’s great if you have a picky kid/s and want to try new things. The cons list is longer, it’s not that cheap, even though the shipping packaging is recycled, the amount of packaging is a lot (it blows my mind how much paper they use), the food packaging is mostly plastic (maybe the thrive brand is recycled plastic but I’m not even sure), and it’s ships from a long distance. And they sell a lot of stuff in single use plastics (think granola bars and tiny kid snacks).Alternative to Fresh Direct?
Thrive Market - I've been a member for a while and would recommend. They use mostly recyclable paper packaging, although some liquids are packaged in plastic.
