Florida family resorts?
We stayed last February and are staying this January at the Grove Resort in Orlando - temps were 27-30 degrees. The self- catered apartments which are cleaned daily are spacious and very attractive and the zero entry pool and small kiddy waterpark was perfect for our then three year old. They also have a lazy river...bliss! The landscaping is really attractive and as a newish resort everything looks in good condition. We really enjoyed ordering food and drinks and having lazy hours sitting by the pool and also using it as a jumping off point for Kennedy Space Center and the many national parks between 1-2 hours drive away. I think because of the proximity to Disney the families staying tend to have younger kids. We think it's a very affordable self- catering option and great value if you're happy to mix up eating out and eating at home.
