My kids and I recently saw Dr Shaikh, who has an office in South Slope. He also goes to other locations (see website as there are lots of doctors and locations). We have seen him over a period of months for a variety of issues - annual cancer screening, shingles, eczema - and have been really happy with him. Great bedside manner!

We ended up seeing Dr. Buka at The Dermatology Specialists (the South Slope location on 5th Ave) and had a great experience with him. He's one of the co-founders of the practice and he did a fellowship in pediatric dermatology which made me feel even more comfortable seeing him. He answered all of our questions, spoke to our 4 year old directly and involved him in the process, and the treatment he gave us is working. What a relief!
