Therapist/program for OCD
I’m not sure if they offer therapy to teens but I found the therapy I received from CCBC to be super helpful. They specialize is all types of OCD treatment and I was able to get partial reimbursement through my insurance at the time. OCD is so tough but getting the right treatment is a life saver. Best of luck to you and your daughter.Therapist/program for OCD

I highly recommend the Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: https://www.cognitivebehavioralcenter.com/. I specifically worked with Dr. Michelle Dziedzic: https://www.zocdoc.com/doctor/michelle-dziedzic-psyd-297465. The founder of the Center, Dr. Steven Phillips, has been at the forefront of developing treatment for people suffering from the type of anxiety that you describe: https://www.madeofmillions.com/articles/talking-ocd-treatment-dr-steven-phillipson. I initially worked with another person at the Center but I continued my treatment with Michelle. She is well versed in treating anxiety, and is also incredibly kind and supportive. I wish you the best of luck in seeking treatment. It is hard, but it was the best decision I ever made.PPA/PPD
The Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in Manhattan has OCD support groups: https://www.cognitivebehavioralcenter.com/treatments. They are not PPD/PPA specific, but the people leading and participating are truly wonderful and supportive. I attended private and group sessions at the Center for non-pregnancy related issues and I know I couldn't have made it through without them. Highly recommend!SUMMARY: ISO: CBT therapist rec for a mom
I've got the perfect place! I also work on 42nd St in midtown east and I go to the Center for Cognitive and Behavioral Psychotherapy on 36th and Lex. They are CBT specialists and have a ton of therapists. They have therapists at different price points and degrees of training, so your friend should be able to find someone who meets her needs. https://www.cognitivebehavioralcenter.com/ I love my therapist, Ivy Marcus, but she's one of the center's codirectors and charges a fortune. I get a discount because I've seen her off and on for 10 years, so if cost is an issue I would not seek her out first. If you contact the center they will match you up with the person who meets your criteria.[ANONYMOUS] CBT and support for OCD
The therapists at The Center for Cognitive and Behavioral Psychotherapy are wonderful and specialists in CBT. They're on 36th St just off Lexington Ave. http://www.cognitivebehavioral center.com/ They charge on a sliding scale from $30-$300/session, depending on the experience level of the therapist. Just tell the receptionist what you can pay and they will set you up with someone appropriate. They don't take insurance, but my insurance covered 80% as an out-of-network provider. Best of luck to you!
