Swim class recommendations
I also live near the border of Windsor Terrace and Kensington and have been my kids (5 and 8) doing classes with Take Me to the Water (https://takemetothewater.com/) for the past couple of months. They rent pools in hotels, which feels a little odd initially but which is actually quite pleasant overall. And so far we've been happy with the level of instruction. We go to one of their downtown Brooklyn locations, which is convenient on the F and G, but they are also opening up in June on Quentin Road and Coney Island, which may also work for you.
