Re: Sewing Machine Advice
Before you give up on your current machine, I strongly encourage you to take it to Sunset Sewing Machine Supplies, on 39th st. I took my 15-year-old Bernina 1008 (highly recommended!) there last year, when the tension kept getting tighter and tighter. Hector was able to repair it on the spot. He's extremely knowledgeable, efficient, affordable, and much closer than the repair shop in the garment district I patronized before.
