Pediatric dermatologist?
Hey there we loved Dr. Choudhury he’s at the sunset park locationDermatologist recommendation
We saw and liked Dr. Choudhury at Dermatology Specialists. I think he works out of the Sunset Park and Bushwick locations.ISO: Pediatric Dermatologist
Dr. Sourab Choudhury has been very helpful with my son's eczema as well as other skin concerns. He practices out of different Dermatology Associates locations depending on the day of the week -- we typically opt for the Sunset Park location when possible but have also seen him at their Bushwick office. Both have been good.Dermatologist recommendation
J also has an egg allergy and we see Dr Choudhury at Dermatology Specialists. They were actually the ones who referred us out to an allergist when they treated his eczema/scalp rashes. They're great with kids and have a bunch of convenient locations to where we live...also easy to schedule with them and we've never had to wait long once at the office.seeking pediatric dermatologist who takes insurance
We have relied on Dr Chaudhury for several years for some complicated skin issues with our son. He is reliable and straight forward. I also like that he does not believe in over medicating.seeking pediatric dermatologist who takes insurance
We really like Dr Choudhury. We see him at his Sunset Park location.Pediatric dermatologist
I second the recommendation for Dr Sourab Choudhury. My son who has had several Dermatology issues has seen him for several years and his diagnosis is always spot on and treatment well defined.Pediatric dermatologist
I’ve seen Dr Choudhury for years and really like him. He takes things seriously, and does a good job distinguishing btw the cosmetic and medical. He’s also a dad of young kids, and I think it shows. Though he’s always been pretty calm and caring.Pediatric dermatologist
We went to Dr. Sourab Choudhury at Dermotology Specialist, on Atlantic Avenue. My son had mild teen acne, we decided not to go with his course of treatment because my son did not want to resort to topical prescription medication. He also only had them in his face and not his body. Dr. Choudhury was great with him and spoke to him directly. We are treating his acne with diet and OTC acne creams.Pediatric dermatologist
We saw Dr Sourab Choudhury a few weeks ago and it was a really good experience. He has offices in downtown Brooklyn and Sunset Park, we went to the Sunset Park location which was super easy. The staff was really nice and sweet with my 8 year old and we felt very safe with Covid precautions.ISO pediatric dermatologist to treat eczema - Brooklyn preferred
Dr Chaudhary at brooklyn dermatology on Atlantic is amazing! We suffered the same fate for almost a year, he took one look and had the right answer and cleared our daughters rash right up!RECO FOR PEDIATRIC DERMATOLOGIST
We had a positive experience recently with Dr Sourab Choudhury at Brooklyn Dermatology. Our daughter (15 mo) had persistent mild eczema since she was a few months old. We had been using two different ointments prescribed by her pediatrician that helped only a little bit - the eczema would get a little better with twice daily application but would flare up frequently and never go away. I finally took her to see Dr. Choudhury, he prescribed a different cream and asked us to put her on a regimen of twice daily for one week and once a week thereafter. It’s been a month and her eczema is completely gone (has been since after the first week). If you decide to make an appointment, be sure that your appt is with the Dr and not a staff member if you wish to see him directly.Dermatologist recommendation in the area
We like Dr. Sourab Choudhury: https://www.thedermspecs.com Offices on Atlantic Ave and in Sunset Park.dermatologist
Dr. Choudhury (he was great) was recommended to me and he helped with my daughter's psoriasis about a year ago although it did just come back so maybe see you there:)!Pediatric Dermatologist
Sourab Choudhury is great. His office is on Atlantic Ave.Dermatologist?
I really like Dr. Sourab Choudhury at Brooklyn Dermatology on Atlantic. I've only seen him myself (not for my kiddo) but I know he specializes in pediatrics and I've seen him recommended for kids many times. The office is also convenient and well-run.2018 Review
He’s awesome. Not only did he almost immediately figure out a tricky skin condition for Charlotte that baffled the allergist we went to (don’t remember their name - they were OK - made sure it wasn’t an allergy, they were the practice reccomended by tribeca pediatrics), he also has a great bedside demeanor with kids and spends a reasonable amount of time diagnosing and following up. Highly recommend him!Re: Anyone have an experience with Brooklyn Dermatology on Atlantic?
My daughters and I have been seeing Dr. Choudhury for years. I find him to be very intelligent, quick with diagnosis and I find he has a quirky bed side humor which puts patients at ease. I have recommended him to friends as well with no complaints. Several years ago, I learned for the first time from Dr. Choudhury I was allergic to penicillin at age 45. He was able to diagnose a horrible full body rash in about 20 minutes. He reassured me I would be fine but to stay away from any medicine that contains penicillin.Re: Anyone have an experience with Brooklyn Dermatology on Atlantic?
Another viewpoint: I haven't had occasion to take my daughter to him, but my husband and I have both had multiple positive experiences with Dr. Choudhury. He has always taken time to answer my questions, and unlike other derms I've seen, doesn't just push cortisone for everything.Re: Anyone have an experience with Brooklyn Dermatology on Atlantic?
My daughter and I both had a negative reaction to Dr. Sourab Choudhury. His manner with patients and parents is of the "omnipotent healer" school. Comprehensive explanations of proposed treatments were offered grudgingly, with an air of impatience. When my then 3-year-old daughter reacted to a needle being poked in her skin (a necessary part of the treatment, but certainly challenging for a child to undergo) his response was, and I quote, "Oh, come on, that doesn't hurt!" I hesitate to offer such a harsh assessment, but would not wish our experience on another family.Re: Anyone have an experience with Brooklyn Dermatology on Atlantic?
I also highly recommend Dr. Choudhary. My daughter has seen him and currently now my boyfriend treats with him. He has a wonderful bedside manner, extremely thorough and he normally doesn't have you wait too long to see him for a scheduled appointment.Re: Anyone have an experience with Brooklyn Dermatology on Atlantic?
We also had a great experience with Dr. Chowdhury. He had to remove a cyst from behind my daughter’s ear, and chatted her up so well she never even knew what was happening until it was over. On that occasion and on follow up visits he and his assistants have been clear, thorough, and very friendly with my daughter who loves going there! (They also have lollipops.)re: reference for Dermatologist
We've also seen Dr. Choudhury on Atlantic Avenue. That's a larger practice and has a few doctors, and we had a mixed experience there.SUMMARY: Dermatologist for adults
We reallly like Dr. Sourab Choudhury on Atlantic Avenue (Reviewed March 2015)ISO: Dermatologist Recommendations
My partner and I have both gone to Dr. Sourab Choudhury on Atlantic Ave a few times and really like him. He doesn't just prescribe cortisone and send you on your way... He's personable and smart, and he takes various insurances. bkderm.comISO: Pediatric dermatologist
I second Dr. Choudhury and his associates. He is incredibly smart and can diagnose immediately. My daughters and I see him as well as his team.ISO: Pediatric dermatologist
Dr. Choudhury on Altlantic Avenue trained at NYU which is generally considered to be a top pediatric dermatology department. He is very smart, and I believe their office takes most insurances.(no subject)
I love Dr. Sourab Choudhury on Atlantic Ave (bkderm.com). He's smart and personable and doesn't just push cortisone on you, like many other derms I've been to! (June 2012)3/30/2011
Does this specialist see adults as well? yes Please enter here a review of the specialist. Dr Choudhry is something of a rock star: good-looking, kids love him and he's in great demand. However, he relies way too heavily oh his physician's asst who will see you before each visit. We were alarmed at how much time we spent each visit correcting misinformation passed from PA to doctor (Dr: You've come about the face rash--it's gone already, we did a great job treating that!" Mother: "No, we came about the warts. The warts that have been spreading rapidly since you started treating them." Dr: "Okay, let's try something stronger. We'll freeze them. See you in three months." Mother: No, you froze them last time and it didn't work..."). After four identical visits we gave up on him.7/25/2011
I recommend Dr. Sourab Choudhury's office on Atlantic Avenue. Although, I only saw his PA, Luis Manuel Ayala, who I thought was good & thorough with my skin check and mole biopsy/removal. www.bkderm.com 161 Atlantic Avenue, Suite 202 Brooklyn, NY 11201 Phone (718) 797-5504(no subject)
I highly recommend Dr. Sourab Choudhury and his staff at http://www.bkderm.com/ Our whole family sees him and we've found him to be very smart, with good bed side manner and a holistic approach focused on prevention and not just knee jerk prescription writing. (Feb 2012)(no subject)
My son has seen his PA both times and she was great and we met the doctor on the second visitt and he was equally pleasant and helpful. (October 2011)(no subject)
My partner and I have both been really happy with Dr. Sourab Choudhury on Atlantic Ave. You'll have to call to see if he takes your insurance, but I think he takes several. He also doesn't automatically push cortisone creams and such, unlike other derms I've seen. (September 2011)(no subject)
We've only been once but the office staff is nice and the PA, whose name was Lewis, was very good with our 2 year old. Met Dr. Choudhury for about 2 seconds, so can't really comment. (PSP Doctor's Survey 2011)(no subject)
He is great with both kids and adults. I was recently very impressed with how he put my very anxious 4 year-old at ease during a procedure. I have always found him to be very kind and knowledgeable.(no subject)
He has been great with my daughter. We have been seeing him for about 2 years. (reviewed August 2010)(no subject)
He is a pediatric and adult dermatologist and great with our daughter. (reviewed August 2010)(no subject)
Both my husband and son have gone to Dr. Sourab Choudhury. he was great with my 2 year old. (November, 2010)(no subject)
His office is on Atlantic near Clinton (I think). His office is called Brooklyn Dermatology. He is the head of pediatric dermatology at LICH but he does adults too. He is great. We went to five doctors to cure a skin ailment on my daughters scalp. Everyone was at a loss. Dr. Choudhury figured it out in five minutes and came up with a mixture of creams that got rid of it in three days. Since then, I have been to him, my wife has been to him and my son as well. We love him. He is great with kids...Very nice and treats them as individuals. He is also reviewed a few times on the Park Slope Parents web site. (may 2010)(no subject)
great, especially good with kids; was able to see me on very short notice; convenient late hours (Recommended 09/08)
