  • Re: Prenatal Yoga Class?

Another recommendation is Sonia Reiter for virtual classes. Sonia is a fantastic pelvic floor therapist PT and yoga instructor. She has prerecorded classes on her website that you can subscribe to. I used them for weeks I couldn’t attend in person or if I wanted to do more than one class per week as things went a long. She is a wealth of knowledge of the pelvic floor and preparing for birth!
  • Hand / Pelvic Floor Therapist Recommendation

I don't know about hand issues either, but I've had a great experience with Sonia Reiter in Park Slope for pelvic floor rehab.
  • ISO Rec for a pelvic floor/post partum physical therapist

I’ve seen Sonia Reiter and she is fantastic and was super helpful.
  • Review from the Spring 2023 Birthing Survey

Sonia Reiter’s virtual pelvic floor birth prep class was a great companion!
  • Looking for trauma-informed pelvic physical therapist

I cannot recommend Sonia Reiter more highly. I worked with her after my second and besides being an incredible pelvic floor therapist, she is kind, gentle and understands how sensitive and hard this process can be. She came to the work after a traumatic first birth, so she also has personal experience. She will go at your pace and constantly checks in. I felt completely safe. In terms of internal work, I saw her in 2020 so we never met in person (until much later) but she was able to guide me without touching me. She works at your comfort level, even in person. No rushing anything. She also runs great postpartum support groups! https://www.soniareiter.com/ Congratulations on your baby! Hope this is helpful!
  • ISO pelvic floor therapist recommendations

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Sonia Reiter!
  • Pelvic Floor

I used Sonia Reiter last summer and it had to be over zoom. Hopefully you’ll be able to go in person b/c I felt that it was pretty expensive for her not being able to examine me or really see me. With that said though, I rarely notice my issue anymore (I have rectocele, so not much of a protrusion, just pressure and discomfort). I think everything she taught me eventually started working. It took time and consistency (but not super strict consistency).
  • Pelvic floor therapist recommendation

I have had an amazing experience with Sonia Reiter. She's doesn't accept insurance though. I filed OON with BCBS, waiting to see how much they reimburse.
  • Pelvic floor therapy recs?

Sonia Reiter! I'm seeing her now and she's wonderful.
  • Pelvic floor therapy recs?

I’ve been working with Sonia Reiter (http://soniareiter.com/) since early last month for a pelvic floor injury I sustained during my delivery and it’s been a wonderful experience. She is supportive, knowledgeable, flexible, and affordable. I reached out to many other PTs in my search and Sonia was by far the cheapest at $130/hour. I highly recommend her. She only does virtual appointments, though, so if you’re looking for in person she might not be a good fit.
  • Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey

Sonia Reiter, pelvic floor PT — Sonia’s great! Very helpful and knowledgeable. We did our sessions virtually because of Covid. Virtual PT is hard but she made it work. She was also honest about how much PT I needed (not much), which I appreciated — I didn’t feel like she pushed us to spend more money that we needed to.
  • Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey

Sonia Reiter for prenatal yoga and lead new parent support group- she’s amazing.

  • Childbirth Classes?

Also, if anyone has been considering pelvic floor therapy, I started seeing Sonia early as I believe I have a weak pelvic floor and I know this can have an affect on natural labor so wanted to see about strengthening before labor rather than just starting after, but loads of people will suggest Pelvic Floor Therapy for after either way, and wanted to give a shout to my therapist who comes to your home and she is just lovely.
