Curly Haircut Recommendation
For curly haircuts I recommend Alan at slope suds, he’s also the owner. I’ve been going to him for 10 years.Outdoor haircut?

I was pretty nervous about getting a haircut (hadn't had one since February) but I wanted to let folks know that Slope Suds (on 7th ave at 16th street) agreed to cut my hair outside. I went to Alan, my usual stylist and owner of the salon, and he said they'd be pleased to do outdoor cuts for anyone who requests it. They have a little outdoor area in front of the salon w/ a couple of chairs and an awning. I washed my hair before arriving, skipped the blow dry and was in and out in less than 30 minutes.Help! hair color correction?

I've taken my 4 year old to Slope Suds on 7th ave and we love them. Jay has done her hair both times and couldn't be sweeter. My daughter hates having her hair washed/brushed/etc but had zero complaints with her "fancy" shampoo or the way Jay brushed.Haircuts for Curly Hair

We like Slope Suds, in the south slope. Friendly and easy-going with kids, reasonable prices (several different prices depending on the stylist), but real stylists, not awkward not-so-good kiddie cuts.Re: Best place to cut curly hair

I also go to Slope Suds. Milla is fantastic. Texas is good as well but I usually go to Milla. I don't have curly hair but Milla has long curly/wavy hair herself so she may be familiar with that hair type! Jan 2011(no subject)

Tanya and Vivi, both at Slope Suds, are AWESOME! I have completely ceased and desisted from going into Manhattan since I discovered Slope Suds, for cut and color. In fact, Tanya corrected for me what a top manhattan colorist got wrong. They are also right on with their cuts for children. (Jan 2011)(no subject)
