Sarah Rivkin is a talented acupuncturist who provided excellent care to help me get pregnant, cope with nausea during the first trimester, and prep me for birth during the last trimester. I highly recommend Sarah to anyone seeking acupuncture.Acupuncture - anybody practicing?
Sarah Rivkin just posted earlier this week on the listserve about her virtual offerings - she is very knowledgeable and skilled. I can personally vouch for her, she is excellent and I trust her 100%. Sarah is kind, knowledgable and no nonsense. I saw her regularly throughout my pregnancy. She helped me tremendously with the physical discomfort of pregnancy. I always felt great after being on her table. Based on a 2015 birthBased on a 2014 Birthing Experience
Member Review: Sarah was great, helped me get ready for childbirth, and also helped for a few weeks after. I got acupuncture with her, and she prescribed herbs to help me & the baby postpartum. Insurance details: Yes, no problems. (Review submitted via the 2014 Birthing Survey)Review for Sarah Rivkin
Sarah treated me throughout my pregnancy. She treated me for minor complaints, such as persistent hip and coccyx pain; she also treated me for more significant issues, such as a breech baby. Sarah helped to turn my son, and kept me calm and feeling great during pregnancy. Whenever I had a question or issue with which she was unfamiliar, Sarah would also do research and follow up with me immediately. After I gave birth, she treated me for everything from incontinence to lactation issues. Sarah is indescribably professional, attentive and intuitive. Each treatment is as relaxing as it is beneficial. I have reviewed two family members to her, both for different ailments (achilles pain & addiction issues). Both enjoyed their treatment, and saw results from their treatment. To those experienced with Acpuncture/Chinese Herbs, as well as those new to the field/practice, I highly recommend Sarah. She is a great blend of East/West academia and excellence.Re: Can anyone recommend a local Ob/Gyn and Acupuncturist?

Sarah Rivkin is talented, sensitive, intelligent and wonderful. I say, go! I know Sarah from our yoga practice and have also been to her for treatment. I don't really like needles, but she is really good. Also, located very conveniently on Carroll St between 4th & 3rd, right below the Children's School.Acupuncturist for Pregnancy
I used Sarah Rivkin located at 488 Carroll St (near 4th Ave) starting at 34 weeks because my baby was breech and I also had low amniotic fluid. She treated both of those conditions and even some back pain. My baby stayed breech but we learned during labor that nothing, not even moxibustion, was going to turn my baby, so I wouldn't judge her on that. I thought Sarah was very professional, thoughtful, and experienced. She specializes in women's health. (July 2011)Acupuncturist for Pregnancy
