Description

OVERVIEW

Skytop Lodge offers a selection of lodging that is unique as the needs of guests. Visitors can choose from the grand, historic Lodge, the serene privacy of deluxe cottages, and for those who love golf, The Inn offers luxury accommodations right on the course. Skytop rates are quoted double occupancy and include three meals per person per night stay.

THE LODGE

This historic, Dutch Colonial stone manor is the centerpiece of our resort. The Lodge sits on a plateau and overlooks our magnificent 5,500-acre mountain estate. The 125 guest rooms and suites feature English country-style designs and offer spectacular views of the Pocono Mountains, the lake and the golf course.

THE INN

The Inn is located on the Skytop estate and houses 20 luxurious guest rooms complete with fireplace, refrigerator and private balcony. There are two executive suites featuring built-in Jacuzzis and 16 connecting rooms. Guests will also find a charming lobby with fireplace, pro-shop, full service restaurant and cocktail lounge with fireplace.

COTTAGES

Each cottage consists of four inter-connecting bedrooms - two queen or king size rooms connecting to two twin rooms. Private bath, porch, a small refrigerator and TV/VCR combinations are a few of the added amenities to the cottage rooms. Also, each cottage shares a washer/dryer facility, making cottage rooms ideal for young families. Due to their unique location and privacy, each room within the cottage can be occupied separately or together in suites from two to four.

  • Skytop Lodge

Similarly, we used to really love to go to Skytop Lodge in the Poconos. I believe it's cheaper than Mohonk and I actually like it more - although I think it's not quite as fancy. Also have not gone since COVID and look forward to a time when I feel comfortable going back! My main concern would be that all the meals there are offered indoors, so you'd have to be comfortable with indoor dining.
