  • Mini golf in Brooklyn?

Shipwrecked! https://www.shipwreckednyc.com/ It’s indoor but really fun and the staff is great! We went two years ago. You just reminded me that we need to go back!
  • Mini golf in Brooklyn?

Shipwrecked in Red Hook is great! It’s our go-to rainy day activity.
  • Recommendation/rave for Shipwrecked

We held my daughter's Bat Mitzvah celebration at Shipwrecked in Red Hook this weekend and it was a dream. The team there made the whole experience really smooth from planning to execution. There were tons of little personalized touches that made my daughter's night really special. They took the time to find out her interests and incorporated them into the decorations and activities. For the kiddo who doesn't want a traditional B'nai Mitzvah party, this was a really great option!

Haven't been in a while but my kids have had fun at Shipwrecked in Red hook.
  • Escape room for 9 yr olds?

We just did my stepdaughter's 10th bday at Shipwrecked in Red hook.. They have 3 escape rooms that are 30 min experiences. Great for small groups. max at 5 and you need an adult. The temple one wasn't too scary (although there is a loud sound periodically which caused several of us to be overstartled)...the kids loved it.

  • Review from Kids Birthday and Bar/Bat Mitzvah Party Survey - 2016

Age of child: 6 Venue Review: Was just ok. The groups of children (almost entirely first graders) had to be staggered to go to the actual course, so some groups were just waiting around for the first 30 minutes of the party. Parents should know that they still have most of the responsibility at this venue, unlike some other places that have "party helpers" that stay in the room and help to facilitate. Our one assigned party helper wasn't that hands-on and basically brought in the food and set the tables. Since the cost of a party here is about the same as some of the other places we've held parties in the past, I would have expected more assistance. Also, maybe the kids were a little too young, but all the groups were not able to complete all 18 holes within the allotted time frame, so the groups at the end skipped some holes. I will say that the space itself is beautiful and the party rooms are very nice. Maybe would have been different if children had been older?
  • Review from Kids Birthday and Bar/Bat Mitzvah Party Survey - 2016

Age of child: 8 Venue Review: Excellent value I thought compared to similarly priced options. Engaging activity for the kids. Course is really uniquely designed with great special effects. Lovely, clean party rooms. They drew a happy birthday design with my child's name on the chalkboard wall, provided plates, napkins, cups, cutlery. They coordinated pizza for lunch and I purchased popcorn and drinks from their catering menu. You could not bring in outside food except the cake so that was a bummer (but I understand). Shipwrecked staff was super easy to work with and out party attendant was terrific. Would definitely recommend think 8+ is perfect age.

Age of child: 5 Venue Review: This was a fun party! Package was limited to 10 kids, plus the birthday kid. Each got a round of mini golf with the extra gold coins, and they provided a free return round as a party favor. The staff was nice and available throughout the party.

  • SHIPWRECKED Mini Golf

In full disclosure, I'll say that I know the owners. We also had a great time at Shipwreck. They have a hole that looks like a subway car that my daughter and her friends loved so much. It is very clean and well planned. It has kid friendly options including snacks. It is nice to have the mini golf option. Definitely worth a trip!
