At Shibley Day Camp we create magical experiences that promote personal growth and lifelong friendships in our nurturing, down to earth environment. Our Shibley community is guided by our GREEN values: Generosity, Respect, Empathy, Endurance & Nurture.
Each day children from Long Island, Manhattan & Queens gather together in a beautiful setting in Northern Nassau County that feels like the Adirondack woods. We provide healthy outdoor activities that keep children active.
Our program allows them to explore new and current interests, gain new skills and build confidence. Campers swim twice a day, including daily American Red Cross swim instruction in addition to participating in a balanced mix of athletics, arts, adventure and other special activities.

1 week sleepaway camp?
I highly recommend Shibley daycamp in Long Island. My son went last year and loved it and they offer a 1 week sleep away option.Back Re: [PSP] Camp Shibley Feedback for 4 yr old?
Our 3 children went to Shibley last summer, as did there 3 cousins. Our children are twins (boy/girl) 7 and a 5 year old. Last summer when our 5 year old was 4 he absolutely LOVED Camp Shibley. The daily pick up and drop off which was seamless and the bus was started with an amazing bus driver and bus counselor who were always touch with me and reachable by phone. The bus ride home was certainly a great nap time for the kids who were busy all day and still ready for bed at 7pm. I cant say enough good things about our experience.
