What month and year was your child born? March 2023 Review: Shawn was great. We met twice before birth, she showed up to the hospital when we asked her to (I was induced) and she was a full support and in tandem with the midwife and nurses throughout labor and delivery. She helped with breastfeeding when baby was born and we had two very helpful postpartum visits. Highly recommend.Birth Doula
I gave birth in mid November and wholeheartedly recommend my doula Shawn Clancy. As first time parents she made us feel completely comfortable from the get go and gave us incredible care and support throughout the entire pregnancy, going above and beyond with multiple home visits and was extremely responsive with text, email, and phone support. She was by our side continuously through my extremely long labor (more than 50 hours!) and although there were many unexpected developments along the way she was our unwavering advocate and made us feel totally informed, in control, safe and supported both physically and emotionally at every step. Shawn was a lovely resource who we worked with a bit virtually during pregnancy - she was incredibly flexible with her time and willing to assist with anything we requested. My delivery was so fast that we literally couldn't dial her up in time on the phone to engage her during birth. She was also willing to answer questions/offer suggestions as much as we needed postpartum.
