We also had our party at Shapeshifter Lab, and it was perfect (and the closest thing we could find to affordable given the number of people and type of party we wanted). We had our daughter’s quinceañera a couple of weeks ago and worked with such amazing people that I have to share their info with you. If you’re planning a bar/bat mitzvah, sweet 16 or quinceañera, or any kind of party, you won’t go wrong with any of these people. There is a space in Gowanus called Shapeshifter Lab that my daughter’s piano teacher rented recently for her student recital, and our friends also rented for a huge party. Both had about 100 people and both had food that they brought in themselves. There is a bar area that served cheap drinks run by the place. Its a big space and I am sure neither of them paid that much— might not be exactly what you need but worth checking out perhaps.[PSPTweens] Bat mitzvah spaces

Age of child: 13 Venue Review: Price was reasonable and you get a discount if your event ends before 6 PM. Staffing was wonderful to work with, they have a great soundsystem, bar (beer and wine) and raw loft kind of feel that I loved.Summary and thanks: Looking for party space for adults
Check Shapeshifter Lab on Whithal - a small street between 3 n 4 aves and 1 n carroll streets.indoors only but great space and woman named Fortuna super helpful.
