I had a good experience with Sears to clean my couch and a small rug. They were the only ones of the three I called that were willing to do the small rug in house rather than have to take it out and then return it. I've lost my notes on costs but they were the easiest to schedule with the best availability and they were quick. They will give you the price over the phone. https://www.searsclean.com/brooklyn-nyBest place to buy a washer/dryer?
Sears!! the store in Brooklyn. You probably weren't thinking of Sears at all. I wasn't either but my mother pushed me to go (she is a discount hound). The headline price I think is competitive or better than most other stores. But you get all sorts of discounts if you use a Sears credit card. And if you buy one appliance first, you get a big coupon for the next appliance. And they deliver for free and takeaway for free; that's makes a difference too. After you take advantage of all the offers, the final prices comes in way cheaper than anywhere else, including all the ones mentioned in the other replies (at least on this occasion). I recently bought a stove and fridge for a rental unit (lower priced) and a washing machine for myself (higher priced). I start every search at Costco but the appliance selection is limited.
