Rare date night - ISO dinner recommendations in Park Slope please!
I still really like Scottadito on Union near 7th. It's been there for at least 20 years and I recently rediscovered it; they have something called a deconstructed caesar salad that's really unusual - but it works.2020 Birthday Party Survey response

I recommend Scottadito Osteria Toscana. I had a family party there and they were wonderful. They have a back room with plenty of space.Lunch for Special Occasion - restaurantsuggestions (Cooking Group)
Scottadito does lovely private parties in their back room (I think you can do a private party at one table, you don't need to book the whole space) and their brunch menu does have eggs but also pastas and more lunch-like options on it. It is a very comfortable and delicious Italian restaurant with good service, if you haven't been.Family dinner out
scotadito on Union btwn 6th & 7th. Very quiet in the back with a good kids menu. http://www.scottadito.comGood restaurant in PS that can seat 16?
Hi, We love Scottadito on Union Street between 6th and 7th, and on Tuesdays, kids eat free (it's one free kid entree with one paying adult). They are very nice, the food is solid and they have lots of space. The kids meal also includes a scoop of gelato. L mom to 2 (whose kids always try and push for Scottadito on Tuesdays)Shower venues
Also- we hosted our bridal shower at Scottadito (up the street) and they were equally as lovely (as Palo Santo)- although it was three years ago and I had less to do with planning that one.Restaurant suggestions to celebrate moms 80th next sat?

Scotoditto in Union St. They have a long table at the back that can definitely sit 10 or more people http://www.scottadito.com/pdf/brunchlunch.pdf (April 2015)RESTAURANT SHOUT OUT: Scottaditto Osteria Toscana on Union Street
Last month I hosted my husband's birthday party at Scottaditto Osteria Toscana on Union Street, and I just want to issue a blanket recommendation for them if anyone has a party to arrange. They have a lovely wine cellar room for smaller parties (up to 35 or 40 people) and an atrium for larger ones, so your party is in a truly private space. You select ahead of time from an extensive menu of dishes at a choice of price points for appetizer course, pasta and entree. The food was amazingly good, and our guests are still commenting on how good the food was over a month later. The staff were top notch, from the manager with whom I communicated during the planning, to the guy in charge of our event during the party, to all the servers. Very much hope to have another excuse to hold a party at Scottadito's again (maybe Baby Heard's wedding?). I recommend them without reservation.Re: Restaurant with small private dining room
Scottadito is on Union Street, close to seventh Avenue. They have a downstairs dining room, where we had a wonderful dinner for 16 people - attentive, congenial service, tasty food that was very fairly priced.ISO adult birthday dinner recs for 16 people
