I see Dr. Sarah Silverman at Mt. Sinai/Brooklyn Heights; she also has pediatric patients. It is not a "kids" practice - you will not find TV's, cartoons, or toys with bright lights and obnoxious sounds in the waiting or exam rooms. Dr. Silverman is warm and the entire staff at this facility are quite friendly and accommodating. In fact, if anyone is looking for a medical office that has most major specialties under one roof - including labs - you might want to check this place out. Just note that their doctors do not have privileges at Methodist; they only admit patients to Manhattan hospitals (including but not exclusively Mt. Sinai). Their presence in Brooklyn is not without controversy for this reason, but if you want convenience and exceptional care, I have been very happy there.
