Recommendations for breast and plastic surgeons

I had a prophylactic bilateral mastectomy with implant reconstruction due to BRCA a few years ago with Dr. Sarah Cate (breast surgeon) and Dr. Jordan Jacobs (plastic surgeon) - both out of Mt. Sinai. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the results and both have great bedside manner. I considered a different plastic surgeon but Dr. Jacobs was more familiar (at the time) with the one-step implant procedure (so that expanders did not have to be used), and that ended up being successful and I think less of a pain in the long run. I had a few issues with scheduling appointments with both doctors (though, the appointments immediately before and after the surgery were easy to get) and some long wait times, but ultimately I'm glad I went with them.

Dr Sara Cate at Beth Israel was very supportive about no reconstruction. She shared some websites with me- one of photographs which is beautiful and I can’t remember the name, another Flat And Fabulous for clothing ideas.
