MFM doctors with specialization in preeclampsia
I was diagnosed with preeclampsia at 32 weeks and was referred to Dr Sanford Lederman at Methodist by the park slope midwives. He was excellent. Very straightforward, very responsive. At my 34 week outpatient monitoring, it was recommended that I go inpatient, and to say I was resistant does not do it justice. He was able to break through and get me to understand why it was important, and got me where I needed to be. He gave me his personal cell phone, and when I had incision pain about a week after my c-section, he just had me pop right by the hospital and took a look. A warm compress solved it, but not waiting was such a balm to my anxiety.Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey

Dr. Lederman did not deliver my baby, but he did do my potentially crazy complicated and scary ECV. He was wonderful AND successful.
