Car mechanic recommendationBest thing I got from an ex-girlfriend is my mechanic in Greenpoint. Tariq the owner has always done right by me since 2012. Has even been straight up and told me when he could fix stuff and have to charge me, or take it to the dealer where they'll do it for free if something was still under warranty. Other times the work has been so minimal that rather than charge me he tells me to just tip his employee who did the work.
