- Russian school of math? Also, Kidpass recommendations?My daughter did RSM last summer and last school year, but only online. I have been asking about the Park Slope branch for the past year or so. . . It kept being on their website but when I spoke to someone they would tell me it wasn't really open. It would be great news if it were open now. It was one of the reasons we didn't sign up for this school year because we don't have a car and the commute to the other Brooklyn branch seemed really long. I really like how they teach, but please email me directly with specific questions. My kid didn't love it but that is more about things to particular to her . . . and she did learn a lot.
- ISO: Third Graders for Developmental Math ClassMy daughter attends a developmental math program on Monday afternoons in Bensonhurst (4.30-6.30). They are seeking one more student to add to their 3-person class in order to continue the class. The math program is a complement to standard curriculum, with greater focus on logic and developing better efficiency in math computations. So far, 3 weeks in our daughter loves it. I hope you may consider it for your child. While its a hike from park slope, they will soon be moving to be on the Q line, which should be a plus.
