  • Kids' haircutter Margaret from Runnin' Wild/now back at Lulu's!

Hi- Some of you may know Margaret, who had the kids' haircutting spot at Runnin' Wild in Carroll Gardens. She moved temporarily during the shutdown but is now back in Brooklyn and working at Lulu's on Fridays. (For those of you with older kids, you might remember she used to be there many years ago.) We saw her today and she said she would love to see former customers! It's super-easy to book online, too, and they are following great Covid protocols- only 6 people in the store at once: https://luluscutsandtoys.setmore.com/staff Margaret has been cutting my kids' hair for 8 years now- she always does a great job with their very very thick wavy hair, and she still has plenty of DVDs.
  • [Summer2016Babies] Hair cut

didn't get to read all of the comments, but i've tried Lulu's a few years ago and had a decent experience with my daughter. I tried Minimax on Atlantic and that was OK. New ownership now I believe and people recommend it. Believe they have the car. My favorite to date is Running Wild on Court Street next to Carroll Park. No fun car to sit in, but she puts a video on to distract the kids if you want, both my kids have had no problem (4 year old and 15 month old) and she gives great cuts. it's $25. I highly recommend letting your kids bangs grow out. Bangs are so adorable, but the upkeep is brutal. Unless you are good with scissors at home... Even though we're growing the toddlers bangs out, we still had her hair cut to get rid of the mullet in back - lol - and give it some shape so when it grows out, it looks good. I absolutely loved her little trim.
