We had a really great experience with Rowan in Boerum Hill. Our baby girl was 6 months and they did an excellent job of making us and baby comfortable. Clean, experienced (the piercers are all nurses) and the earrings materials are specifically for sensitive skin. Our pediatrician recommended them. Just make sure you take the time to check you like the placement, since that’s more preference. We took our (then) 4-year old to Rowan and we had the best experience! There is one in Boerum Hill. All of their piercings are done by licensed nurses, which is amazing! My nieces also went back to get their second and third piercings done as they got older too.ISO: Ear piercing recommendations
My 2 6-year olds and I got our ears pierced in June at Rowan on atlantic ave. We went a week before to watch other people, which i think was helpful for them to see. The people there were SUPER patient. One of my daughters sat down and banged it out, the other had anxiety for an hour, getting in and out of the chair and wavering. The girl behind the desk and the NP doing the piercing were a good tag team and helped us push through! we went on a monday which ended up being great bc they werent booked and could spend that hour with us. On the weekends they have multiple NPs and can pierce both ears at once if you think that's helpful.Place to pierce baby ears?

Rowan does house calls for ear piercing. I've been to their studio on the Upper East Side and have seen them piercing little kids and they did a great job. All of their piercers are registered nurses so they took Covid seriously.Ear Piercing (For a grown-up)
I just got my first piercings redone at Rowan on the UES. They also do house calls. I chose them over Studs because their piercers are all nurses. (Does this actually matter much? I don’t know but it made me feel better.) I had a great experience. They redid my piercing perfectly.
