  • ROP check ups

I have a 28 weeker, she’s about 9.5 week’s adjusted age now. I’d recommend Dr. Koty on the upper east side. He was the specialist she saw in the NICU at Mt Sinai West, and we had 2 follow up visits after discharge. She had one eye get to stage 1, the other stage 2, and then gradually both got back to 0. After seeing him upon discharge, his guess was that in two weeks time she’d be back to normal, and she was. I’m not familiar with the dye test, but definitely love Dr Koty (even though it’s a bit far from us!). Best of luck to you!
  • ISO pediatric ophthalmologist

We go to Richard Coty, he's being seeing my daughter who was a preemie for a year now and he's great! Patient and even fun. But he's upper east side or Long Island.
  • Summary of recs for pediatric ophthalmologists

Our 9yo started doing this (strabismus) at age 4 and our pediatrician referred us to Dr Koty on 72nd St in Manhattan. She's worn glasses since and should be done with them by 10 or 11.
  • Recommendations for pediatric ophthalmologist

We use Richard Koty on the upper East Side because he was the ophthalmologist at Roosevelt's NICU. I'd recommend him, so friendly albeit a bit far from Brooklyn! (He also has an office in Long Island)
