Our delivery experience with Dr. [Rhonia] Gordon was mixed. There were some delays in checking in on us as labor progressed, most notably when our nurse and doula concluded that I had started active labor. While thoroughly professional, she often seemed impatient to move things along, demanding immediate decisions from us without explaining the ramifications. (There were complications after delivery that could be addressed with either immediate surgery or drugs. We had no idea how to choose!).
