ISO: Pediatric Dermatologist
We went to Heights Dermatology, as recommended by our pediatrician. They did a great job diagnosing my son. Some of the doctors have children themselves and advised me as parents and as dermatologists which I appreciated (i.e. we would normally recommend removing the mass but considering his age and inability to sit still and that it isn't impacting his day to day life, as a parent I wouldn't remove it now and would go to a plastic surgeon when he is older). The location is NOT stroller friendly. Also I would call in advance to finish the paperwork before going in.Medical Dermatologist
I have gone for years to Heights Dermatology on Remsen Street in Bklyn Hts. and have full confidence in them. I've seen both Drs. Avram (Mark and David). Both very kind, competent. Dr David is an absolutely excellent surgeon who does plastic-surgery-level Moh's surgery. I see Dr. Shannon Watkins in their office for my full-body scans and she's found things I didn't even know were problems -- a terrific diagnostician. I recently tried out Heights Dermatology in Brooklyn Heights for a mold check. It was as local as I could find and a friend recommended them. I was pretty nervous but had a good experience and came out feeling very happy that I had gone. They had me wait outside on the sidewalk and called me in when there was nobody else in the waiting room (which was pretty spacious). The receptionists were enclosed behind a screen. There was sanitizer available easily and obviously. I liked the doctor and felt as safe as I could under the current circumstances.Pediatric Dermatologist

We recently took our son to Minnelly Luu at Brooklyn Heights Dermatology at 115 and 1/2 Remsen. We have Oxford. Dr. Luu was nice and we felt she was competent. My mother in law is a dermatologist in Manhattan (adult), so that's my basis of comparison. None of the people she recommends take any insurance, so I took a shot in the dark, and plan to continue to take our kids there when needed. (May 2012)(no subject)

Yes, Dr.Hartman has been my daughter's dermatologist since she was 5 years old. She is lovely and the whole family sees her as well. her brothers are also dermatologists and just as nice and competent as she. The office staff is nice and very professionally rean [sic] as well.
