2018 Birthday Party Review
Tanya (Razzle Dazzle) was great for a younger crowd (it was a 5th birthday). Good combo of magic and clowning. Kids loved it and she was reasonably priced. We got the balloon animals service included and it was fun (she did the balloons while the kids ate their pizza).Review - Razzle Dazzle
I would like to submit a review for Razzle Dazzle (magician Tanya Solomon). We had her come to our 5-year-old's birthday party and I'm compelled to write a positive review. The kids at the party were age 1-7 and they were all riveted the entire time (it's rare that such a group can sit in one place for 45 mins). She was fun, silly and perfectly pitched for the young elementary set. A number of people at the party said they would be hiring her for their parties too. Razzle Dazzle came to my son's 5th birthday party in February 2015 and put on a show that the kids LOVED. They were engaged and had lots of laughs the entire time. The show lasted for a nice long time and lots of the kids were able to participate and join the fun. After the magic show Razzle Dazzle made balloon animals for each kid. We ended up having lots more kids than we planned for (siblings, etc.) - we had the party at the Park Slope Armory so there was more than enough room - Tanya (Razzle Dazzle) handled the situation well (there were LOTS of kids) and just went with it. Razzle Dazzle (Tanya Solomon) performed at my daughter's sixth birthday party. She kept the room full of 20 or so six years rapt with her magic and patter. She singled out the birthday girl just enough to make her feel like it was her party, but not so much that she was embarrassed (as I had feared she would be). After 15 minutes, she knew all the kids by name and was calling on all of them. Tanya was lovely to work with, checking in several times beforehand to make sure we were still on track for the party. My daughter had been looking forward to this for almost a year - Tanya had been her circus teacher at camp the previous summer and she had been looking forward to having her perform at her party all year. Tanya not only remembered my kids from camp, but several of the friends at the party as well. We were all very happy to have had her at the party.December, 2012
My twin six-year-olds first met Razzle Dazzle this past summer at camp at Congregation Beth Elohim. When it was time to organize their birthday party, they only wanted her to come to perform. We had their party yesterday, and I have to say, she was AMAZING! For over an hour, Razzle Dazzle, aka Tanya Solomon, kept 18 kids, aged 2 to 7, mesmerized (truly, she is a magician!). She is fun, funny, and so super nice. She also threw in a magic lesson and wands for every child. And, her rates are reasonable.
