    I concur wholeheartedly with Precision Appliance - our landlord would use another company to 'fix' our fridge and it kept breaking, but (*knock on wood*) the service rep from Precision (who We had to find to fix in a reasonable amount of time) fixed it well and it's been going strong for a year and a half now! It wasn't cheap, but it was done correctly and done well!!

    Seconding Precision Appliances. John is truly the best!! He’s so knowledgeable and reliable. I trust his judgment and he has serviced all of our appliances. They are also very responsive.

    If you google on Miele you get some authorized dealers, but I have not used them so don’t know about them. However, we used Precision appliances and they are absolutely fantastic. Very knowledgeable, upfront about costs, very responsive and fulfill their promises. We have them service our Miele appliances which I am very happy about.

    I have used Precision Appliance repair a few times and they were great. Two times for an older stack washer and dryer, and one time for our older oven. Great experience, dry and nice and to the point.

  • Stacked Washer Repair

    Hi - a few weeks ago we had to have our stacked LG washer repaired and had a great experience with John from Precision Appliance Service. Precision appliance service 8225 5th Avenue Brooklyn 11209 718-266-2545 He was one of the only technicians we found willing to disconnect the stacked dryer ( for a small additional fee) but well worth it. I most appreciated that he didnt try to up sell us. He walked us through step by step how to troubleshoot ourselves (20-30 mins of his time) before even taking an appointment. Direct no BS service. Highly recommended.

    We love precision appliance. Eddie, whom I believe is the owner, is honest, reliable and fast - and a great guy. He even talked me OUT of having him fix my old dishwasher and into buying a new one.

    I highly recommend their prompt, thoughtful, and very competent way of approaching and repairing appliances. We have used them for refrigerator/freezer repairs (after other people unsuccessfully tried) and also dishwasher repairs. They also repair washers and dryers, stoves and ovens.

    Thanks to everyone for the many recommendations for appliance repair-people. I ended up calling Precision Appliance Services (http://www.bklynservice.com/index.html), which was not recommended by anyone on PSP, but was highly recommended on Angie's List. I spoke to the owner, who was very friendly and listened carefully to the problem I'm having with my dishwasher. He suggested I try a quick-fix first, and if that didn't work, that I call him back. I appreciated that he didn't want to come out right away and charge me for a visit, so I will definitely call him back if the problem isn't resolved.
