I could go on and on about how awesome Elizabeth and Paul were throughout the process of the sale of our apartment. We started the process smack in the middle of COVID. Our apt was so cluttered that I couldn’t even imagine how I would be able to get it ready to show. First, they had us take pictures of every spot in the apt and then they made us a list of every single item in every single room that we had to get out in order to be ready to show. It only took me one week because their instructions were so explicit and comprehensive. Then they popped by once (in masks) for a quick in-person viewing so they could figure out what they needed for staging. They spent almost two full days staging our apt and it was gorgeous. Almost made us not want to move. We had lookers there the whole time, but people seemed to be afraid to take the leap. Elizabeth and Paul remained calm and more importantly, kept us calm. We got the offer we had hoped for. All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend this team. I would fly a plane across Brooklyn to praise them if I could afford it.ISO: Real Estate Broker Specializes in Brooklyn
I know that you have plenty of suggestions already but I have to throw mine in for Elizabeth Kohan and Paul Paglia at Garfield Realty. They were incredible. As a family of 4, we had enough crap in our apt that you would’ve thought we were a storage unit. I am not a self starter and was overwhelmed by the idea of having to get our apt sell- ready. I sent photos of every space on the apt and they made me lists of each item to get rid of (either put in actual storage or sell/give away/trash. Room by room. Item by item. It was incredible. Then they came in and staged our apt using some of our own things and some things that they brought in. They spent two days making our place look incredible. They also made recommendations on what we might want to do to make it more marketable but did not push. In the end, we followed their recommendations and are very happy we did. It took awhile to sell but it’s a pandemic. Elizabeth and Paul updated us regularly so we knew that people were coming to see it and who was interested and who was not. It’s a draining process right now because it’s a pandemic but they kept us in the game and helped us keep our panic at bay. I used to wonder what a real estate broker did that I couldn’t do myself. Now I know and they definitely earn their percentage!!!
