Review from the 2021 Birthing Experience Survey
I went to Pat Cassidy for acupuncture. She is great.Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey
Patricia Cassidy: acupuncture: I’m not sure what exactly the connection is between the acupuncture treatments I’ve gotten and the labors I’ve had, but Pat is very knowledgeable and both times that I have gotten acupuncture from her before giving birth I have had wonderful birth experiences.Review submitted via the 2016 Birth Survey
Really helped to get more comfortable towards the end of my pregnancy. She was also very helpful in doing the insurance paperwork. Based on April 2016 Birth Experience (06-Nov-2016)Review submitted via 2015 Birth Survey
I was having severe hip and back pain during the last month of my pregnancy. Nothing helped and I was in constant discomfort. My doula recommended Patricia. I saw her 3 times before the baby came, including the day before he was born, and each time helped immensely and almost immediately with whatever the painful thing was at that moment. She also came by to treat me once a few days after the baby was born. I can't say enough good things about her. She knows what she's doing. Wow. If you want to go the acupuncture route, I recommend Stephanie Propper (home visits!) or Patricia Cassidy in Park Slope. (On 09-Aug-2015)Re: Transverse baby 36 weeks- need acupuncture reco & chiro
Pat Cassidy is an amazing acupuncturist who treated me during my labor when I stalled out.(no subject)
Pat Cassidy is nothing short of AMAZING. I saw for the last 20 weeks of my 2nd pregnancy, and I had her come to the house to do a treatment while I was in labor. I had a ridiculously fast and easy delivery sans drugs...in the triage unit of the hospital. I'll never know if it was all the acupuncture, but I'm happy to think it was! Pat is an amazingly calm force to have in your life during a pretty stressful time, needles or not. (june 2010)(no subject)
Pat Cassidy is amazing. I think she's thrreason I didn't end up with a c-section at the end of my complicated pegnancy and induced delivery. You will love her -- she is such a calming presence during those intense weeks leading up to the birth, and the acupuncture helps with so many of pregnancy's difficulties. (aug 2010)
