  • Need Physical Therapist

My husband and I have both gone to Park Sports PT on 6th ave and 20th and we both had really great experiences.
  • PT for a child in Windsor Terrace or along the F/G

I’ve had good PT experiences for a variety of ailments with Park Sports PT/Ivy Rehab on 9th St and PPW, a block up from the 8th Ave exit at the Seventh Ave. F/G stop. Lisa there has been great! They have other locations, too, and Pediatric PT is listed as being offered on their website at some of their locations, including Fulton St. (also not far from the G at Clinton/Washington) and PPW.
  • Physical therapist for rotator cuff

I second the Park Slope PT recommendation! I had a shoulder impingement and they really helped me get through it. Works perfectly now, and I was previously in pan any time I raised my arm.
  • Physical therapist for rotator cuff

I recommend Park Sports Physical Therapy (Ivy Rehab) for rotator cuff as well as other types of injuries. They have several locations, but I went to the one on PPW and 9th St. All the therapists were very good. I’m doing all my usual activities again, including swimming 2x week.
  • emergency acupuncture needed

Also Park Sports physical therapy might be able to help you - a location in central slope and one in south slope. I’ve been and found them to be effective.
  • Looking for a sports PT nearby

I had a good experience recently, finishing a couple of weeks ago, with PT for an ankle injury at Park Sport Physical Therapy, which has a location on Fulton St east of Washington St (I think that's officially Clinton Hill, but it's just over the border from Prospect Heights), as well as a couple in Park Slope: https://parksportspt.com. I went to 6th Ave near 20th St, and I don't know how much the therapists cross over between locations, but fwiw, my PT was Edward, who was very good.
  • Orthopedist recommendation?

He also connected me to a great physical therapy spot at Park Sports Physical Therapy (PPW and 9th St).
  • ISO Physical Therapy in Park Slope Area

I had a really good experience with: Park Sports Physical Therapy – Park Slope 142 Prospect Park West Brooklyn, NY 11215 I initially went for my knee but as (bad) luck would have it I developed an unrelated hip problem during the time I was seeing them. They helped a lot with both. Would definitely go to them again should I ever need PT in the future. My therapist's name was Nicole Liquori. She was great.
  • Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey

Went to pelvic floor rehab with Melissa at park sports physical therapy on 6th and 20th. I liked her and found it helpful.
  • Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey

Park sports on prospect park west was also helpful for these pains and covered by my insurance.

  • Looking for a Physical Therapist for my knee

Nicole at Prospect Sport on 9th and PPW is great. Caveat: Their front office is a bit disorganized, but I've worked with Nicole (full body) and Massouia (hand) and they are both excellent. (October 2019)
  • Occupational therapist rec. after adult wrist/hand surgery

Mouissia at Park Sports on 9th St and PPW. She's the best. She knows her stuff and she's really delightful for work with.
  • Physical Therapy Rec at Park Slope PT?

I highly recommend Kristin Romeo at Park Sports on Prospect Park West and 9th Street. She has helped my 10 year old son with some leg issues as well as my own runner's issues.

  • Physical therapist who takes Aetna?

Park sports. 2 locations: Garfield St./6th ave and 20th st (south slope).
  • ISO: Physical Therapist

I would try Park Sports Physical Therapy and Hand Rehabilitation at 325 Garfield Place near Prospect Park West. I have Oxford and they they take it, but give them a call to confirm your specific plan. I have been seeing Svetlana Lazarev, a co-owner, and think she is great.
  • ISO advice on de Quervain's

I'm so sorry you're suffering from de Quervain's. I am too, and have been very successfully treated by the excellent physical and occupational therapists at http://parksportspt.com/ They have me wearing splints when I sleep, doing tendon and nerve gliding exercises, and taking Iyengar yoga to open up my chest and strengthen my upper back and shoulders.
  • May 2007

I just started seeing the practice of Boris Gilzon. I have not actually seen him, but so far the other therapists there seem to be great. It's called Park Sports and is at 325 Garfield near the Park. (718) 230-1180 http://www.parksportspt.com/about_us.html He came highly recommended from the orthopedic surgeon I saw, and I believe a lot of triathletes go to them as well.
