I have Aetna for medical and eye med for vision and went to Park Slope Family Eye Care with a medical issue (mega eye infection) and was charged as medical. The dr picked up on the problem immediately after having been to two other drs who frankly made it worse. I would def recommend!
Buying eyeglasses locally

I had a good experience at park slope family eye care on 5th. I've had eye exams there the past 2 years and I bought glasses this year with them. Last year, rather than trying to sell me glasses that were not covered by my insurance, the Dr said that the glasses I had we're ok for another year. I was grateful for that.
