Review from the Spring 2022 Birthing Survey
Highly recommend Parent Craft and Casey! Informative and engaging — super valuable for both birthing persons and their partners.Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey
Casey’s childbirth class was terrific. She covered all the bases and provided helpful resources. My partner and I supplemented her two-day class with a short class on movement during labor and delivery at Birth Day Presence, which was also helpful.Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey
Amazing class. My husband and I took a virtual 6-hour childbirth class where we both learned so much (even after having read a bunch of books). I used a lot of her tips during labor as well. I was hesitant to cough up a few hundred dollars for a virtual class but this one was worth it for me.Seeking Infant Care Class Recommendation!
We did the Parent Craft "Fourth Trimester" class and thought it was great! We also did their labor and birth class, which was wonderful and in general they're very open about follow-up questions and communications.Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey
Compared to what I heard of other classes, Parent Craft is the best. They covered things other classes didn’t.Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey
Casey is the best!!! She’s a down to earth midwife who is knowledgeable about alternative methods but also knows everything about hospitals/ western approaches. We continued to email her for references and questions after the class and she was so so helpful.Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey
It was fine but I don’t recommend doing the all-day childbirth class followed by the all-day newborn / lactation class. It’s just too much all at once. Space it out.Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey
I took a Childbirth and Newborn class via Zoom w/Parent Craft. Both were extremely informative, the instructions (Casey and Leigh) both provided tons of really useful information, everything was "user friendly" and in language that was understandable, they answered tons of questions and provided a ton of great resources as well. Highly recommend!Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey
Breast feeding support group at Parent Craft - felt pretty anti supplementing. I gave direct feedback to the owner of PC because I felt excluded as I was supplementing when I went to the class.Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey
Childbirth class was great. Informative, just about the right amount of info and nice to meet other parents. Casey kept things moving which was very helpful as a class was after work.Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey

This class again terrified us into doing all sorts of things we really didn't need to do--like hiring a doula. But it did help my husband learn a little bit waht he was in for.Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey
Casey/Great class! We took the one class/all day option. It was fun, informative and went super quick. I recommend that course and their 4th trimester course asl well.Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey
Absolutely astonishingly good - empowering, informative, funny, warm, great snacks, super thorough.RECOMMENDATIONS: Birthing/ Lamaze's classes park slope area
Just want to co-sign on Parentcraft. We had a great experience with them, and our facilitator was a helpful source after class, too. The class followed the sequences of birth as well as a little bit of postpartum physical and mental care, as well as taking care of a new little one. It was all so helpful to get our feet wet as first time moms. I’ll also just say nothing can really prepare you???? :) But at least there’s a foundation.2019 Birth Survey
A totally wonderful experience! I had my ears plugged and eyes covered about delivery, but this was an informative way to dive in to the inevitable. I appreciated Casey’s approach — realistic, thoughtful, kind, and funny. The handout she gave us got referenced for weeks after the baby was born.2019 Birth Survey
Casey was amazing and knowledgable. Her class was the perfect size and length. Very informative.2018 Birth Survey
Casey was great. We got the info we felt we needed and didn't need to spend too much time doing it.2018 Birth Survey
Great class. Casey is an amazing instructor. Really informative and great resources and tools. Highly recommend.[March2018Babies] Birthing Classes
Second Parent Craft! We have one class remaining in a 3-week course and Casey, the instructor, has been wonderful. Very informative and the location is really comfortable and welcoming.[March2018Babies] Birthing Classes
Yesterday we did the class at Parent Craft. It was awesome. Just a one day intensive on birth. Lots of good info. I know she also does a longer series of evening classes as well. We are going back for the breastfeeding and infant care class next month!review: Parent Craft
I was lucky to have Casey as a midwife during my first pregnancy and labor. For my second, she provided a thoughtful 2 hour session in our home (after our son's bedtime) tailored to address my individual experience and needs (as a TOLAC). She guided us through a discussion about what to expect to be different at the hospital, important questions to ask my OB, and how to prepare both emotionally and logistically for a second child. Along with her depth of experience as a nurse-midwife and mother, Casey brings extraordinary warmth, enthusiasm, and humor to Parent Craft.
