• Here’s a recommendation for plumber for the LL152 Gas line inspection which is due this year

  I wanted to share a recommendation for a plumber. He did all the work for our gut renovation a few years ago and then we just had him back to do the LL152 gas line inspection which is due this year. Vito at Palmar Plumbing (917) 299-3681 If you don’t know, the new law now requires this inspection to be done on a building’s common area (usually just basement) gas lines every 4 years and this year is the year that the Park Slope district’s inspections are due. I believe 1-2 family buildings are exempt though so just needed for 3+ family buildings. You might get mailers like we did from sketchy sounding companies to do this inspection. And I heard not all plumbers want to do these inspections because they take on the liability for those gas lines. So I just wanted to share that recommendation in case anyone else is looking for someone to do their gas inspection. They were great to work with and solid communication plus they handled filing all the necessary papers with the city.
