have used Opal on 8th ave and Lincoln many times and always loved itSpas for pregnancy
I wanted to share a very strong recommendation for Opal Massage, at 8th Ave at Lincoln Place. I've been going there for years and have been several times since becoming pregnant and their prenatal work is also delightful. It's run by massage therapists and I just book whomever is available. I've never had a bad experience and their prices are super reasonable. Minor inconvenience: they don't accept online bookings so you have to call during business hours to book, but it's worth it.Face down prenatal massage?
I also loved Opal for my prenatal massage. I think I was about 35 weeks when I went! They gave me the option of being on my side or on my stomach with their elaborate pillow system. I chose stomach and felt comfortable and relaxed the whole time. Highly recommend!Face down prenatal massage?
Opal Massage & Allied Therapies is THE. BEST. and they offer this service. I did it with my first when I was feeling really sore and achey. The practitioner was wonderful and very gentle/checked in with me a lot, but I will tell you that while I normally love massages (even really strong ones), my experience while pregnant was a little funky. I got really nauseated a few times and had to take some water breaks. You might have an entirely different experience but just wanted to mention it in case you’re prone to nausea.Pregnancy massage recommends locally please!
Opal on 8th Ave and Lincoln has therapists who do prenatal massage, and they are very reasonably priced. I went once a week for a while and it really helped with the swelling in my legs.2018 Review
I just wanted to give a shout out to Opal Massage. I have gotten prenatal massages at both Opal and Red Moon Wellness, and I think Opal has a couple things to recommend it. You will no doubt get a great massage from a skilled therapist at both places, but Opal has larger tables, which for me were much more comfortable, especially late in pregnancy, and at Opal, depending on how far along you are, you have the option of being set up with bolsters so that you can lay on your stomach. This was basically my favorite thing in the world during both of my pregnancies - 90 minutes without a baby laying on my bladder![October2017Babies] Prenatal Massage in Park Slope?

I go to Opal Massage.[October2017Babies] Sacrum Pain!
I was having terrible pain and I went and got an amazing 90 min massage with Shyla at Opal near Grand Army and have been feeling so much better since. (That was last Friday.) It wasn't the bliss land relaxation massage I usually like. She worked on the muscles in my lower back pretty deep but never to the point of being unbearably painful.Re: ISO: tax guy or accountant good with stock option issues
I can’t speak to mind-body connection, but Carlos is AMAZING!!!! I have tried about six or seven people there and he’s by favoriteWho do you recommend at Opal for a massage?
I've had massage from a woman named Christina there and it was heavenly!Who do you recommend at Opal for a massage?
I've had a few massages there, all good, but I really loved one by a younger woman named Simone (I think?). I like really deep massages on the rare occasions that I get them. I found that Simone was very intuitive and connected with my knots in a way that wasn't annoyingly earthy. But you could probably also tell Opal what you like in a massage & they could hook you up with the right person.Summary: Massage therapist recs at Opal

Opal Massage and Allied Therapies on 8th Ave in the Slope. Amazing! And they do a 70 minute massage for 90, pretty affordable and that extra 10 minutes makes it feel sooo long. Plus! they are great with sports stuff and often use hot rocks, which feel amazing. Julianna is my favorite therapist there.(no subject)
Opal Massage Therapies! A variety of therapists work out of the space, so folks might have specific recommendations for people, but every massage I've gotten there has been terrific. www.opalcenter.com/ (Feb 2012)(no subject)
I am a devotee of Erika at Opal Massage Therapies on 8th avenue in North Slope. She is incredibly strong and nice and the space is fantastic. She also does prenatal massage with the whole padding set up for the pregnant among us - I just gave birth, and when I was pregnant the side massages were just not comfortable or enough. Erika has this great padding thing that lets you lie face down safely and get the back massage you're dying for! Here's the information: http://www.opalcenter.com/ 718-857-6183.(no subject)
I gave my husband a gift certificate for a massage at Opal on 8th and Lincoln and he loved it.
