  • Birthday party venues

    We celebrated our son's January birthday with a trip to the NY Transit Museum last year. It wasn't an "official" party, but we had 6 adults + 6 kids for around $100 and everyone had lots of fun and we may do it again this year. I recommend booking tickets in advance

  • ISO: local place to buy NYC themed ornaments

    the transit museum! if you don't want to go in person, look at this cool old fashioned subway car ornament! and this subway map ornament! or a bus ornament! they also have a metro card and more current trains and busses and old stations. you could literally outfit a whole tree with nyc and nyc transit themed stuff. have fun!
